What is the ThetaHealing® technique?

ThetaHealing® is a powerful yet gentle energy healing technique that consists of several distinct philosophies or pillars. Let's use the analogy of a house that is comprised of a basement (the subconscious mind), the main floor (the conscious mind), and an attic (the higher mind).

The basement, which represents the subconscious mind, contains among other things, all the boxes filled with dusty old traumas, the frights of childhood, the shadows, the stacks of dried up "shoulda, woulda, coulda, but didn't" regrets, the layers of shame, the hurtful words from a trusted person whether or not it was intended, the rats of phobias that continue to pop up, the floodwaters of suppressed anger and resentment and the piles of mouldering beliefs that mom didn't truly love you.

You even have a sub-basement of ancestral and past life experiences and trauma programs that are still active.

We all have the basement whether we know it or not. And so, as you mature, you attempt to build a life (the main floor) and navigate adulthood. You might begin to realize that your main level has been built above a basement of dusty boxes that essentially shape your beliefs and thoughts about yourself, your decision making abilities, and other people, as well as all manner of other subconscious baggage. These manifest as addictions, money issues, low self worth, feelings of constant worry, anger, sadness and other debilitating chronic emotional states, many of which lead to physical ailments and autoimmune issues.

ThetaHealing will help with clearing out that basement using these methods:

Theta brainwaves.

The brain enters the theta frequency during deep relaxation and hypnosis, when the subconscious mind can accessed. This is akin to opening the door to the basement in a safe and supported way.

"Digging" for Beliefs.

This is the actual work of locating and removing the specific beliefs and thought forms that act as a roadblock to living freely. As digging out the root is essential to remove weeds, we look for the root beliefs of any number of presenting issues which are often completely different than one would have thought.

Downloading.

Once boxes have been cleared, we add different boxes in their places. These are filled with books all about living abundantly, living with joy, safety, confidence, personal power and many other positive topics. This is essentially teaching your subconscious mind new and healthy ways of thinking, behaviour, decision making, and belief patterns.

Let's not forget about the attic!

In the analogy we have been working with so far, the attic represents the higher mind. We'll take it a step further and call it the Divine Mind. Not in a religious sense, but a spiritual one. We call this mind "All That Is" AKA Creator, Field of Potentiality, etc. It is with this force that we as ThetaHealers to collaborate to bring healing and positive change to those with whom we assist. Imagine that kind of wisdom and power inhabiting the attic and providing direction, comfort and healing!

Once the basement is cleared and replaced with positive thought forms and you've connected with the All That Is, your shadow infested shack transforms into a grand mansion full of light, hope and health.
